👥 Introducing Team Plans: Give Your Whole Crew Real Access
Team plans let a Pro subscriber upgrade to cover up to 4 additional crew members (5 total) under one account for $39.99/month, replacing the $9.99 solo plan. Each invited member gets a role — Viewer, Tech, or Manager — controlling what they can edit or delete. Every role (including Viewer) can see all equipment, parts, maintenance logs, and building details in your workspace. Larger crews can add tiers in blocks of 5 seats, each adding $39.99/month.
Equipment Tracker Pro now supports real multi-user Team plans — invite your techs, give them the right level of access, and manage it all from one subscription. Here is how it works and what it costs.
Why a Solo Plan Was Never Going to Be Enough
Equipment Tracker Pro started as a tool for one technician to stop losing nameplate photos and maintenance histories between phones. But almost every property manager and HVAC contractor who reached out asked the same question: what about my crew? A property with twelve buildings isn't maintained by one person, and a maintenance history is only as useful as everyone's ability to see and update it in real time.
Team plans solve that directly. Instead of everyone on a crew needing their own separate subscription — and everyone's data living in separate, disconnected accounts — one subscription now covers the whole team, with everyone working against the same equipment records, the same PM schedules, and the same maintenance history.
What a Team Member Can Actually Do
Every invited member gets one of three roles, set by the account owner and changeable at any time:
- ▸ Viewer — read-only access across your workspace's equipment, parts, maintenance logs, building details, and reports. Ideal for office admins who need visibility without making edits.
- ▸ Tech — full create, edit, and delete permissions on day-to-day operational records: equipment, parts, maintenance logs, inventory, tools, and PM schedules. Cannot modify building profile details.
- ▸ Manager — everything a Tech can do, plus managing building profile details and pending team invites.
Pricing: One Plan, Sized to Your Crew
Team plans start at $39.99/month for 5 total seats (you plus 4 members) — replacing your existing $9.99/month solo plan, not stacking on top of it. Need a bigger crew? Every additional block of 5 seats adds another $39.99/month: 10 seats for $79.99/month, 15 for $119.99, scaling linearly up to 50 seats for $399.99/month.
There's no per-seat haggling and no enterprise sales call — pick the tier that covers your crew size and upgrade or add seats whenever you actually need to.
How to Upgrade
From the web dashboard, go to the Upgrade page (or click Manage Subscription under Account), select your desired seat count, and confirm. If you are already a Solo Pro subscriber on Stripe, this upgrades your subscription in place — no double billing and no separate subscription to manage. Once upgraded, invite team members directly from the Team screen; each invite generates a code that expires in 48 hours if unused.
Note: App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed directly through Apple or Google. Web-based Stripe Team plans cover web and mobile access for all invited members.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does upgrading to Team cancel my current Solo subscription?
No separate cancellation needed — upgrading swaps your existing subscription to the Team plan in place. You're never billed for both at once.
Can I change a team member's role after inviting them?
Yes, from the Team Members panel at any time — role changes take effect immediately.
What happens to my data if I remove a team member?
Their access is revoked immediately and their local copy of your data is wiped. Your data itself is untouched — it lives under your account, not theirs.
Is there a free trial for Team plans?
Yes — the same 7-day free trial as Solo applies if you haven't had a subscription with us before.
