Equipment Tracker Pro has grown to pack a ton of powerful capabilities: AI-powered nameplate scanning, custom QR code label creation, building transfers, parts inventory compatibility, and EPA refrigerant leak calculations. To solve this, we just built and launched the brand new How-To Guides Hub (now simply called the 'How-To' section in our navigation bar). It is an interactive, browser-based simulator that walks you through all 11 core workflows step-by-step with real, high-fidelity app screenshots.

Unlike standard, text-heavy documentation portals, our new How-To section features a responsive sidebar containing all 11 major workflows. Clicking on any guide loads a custom interactive visualizer right on the page.

You can toggle between Mobile and Web platforms to see how the workflow differs, and click through a visual step-by-step timeline. Every single step features a high-fidelity screenshot of the actual app interface, detailed descriptions of buttons to tap (such as the 'CONDITION CHECK' options or 'ADD NEW LOCATION' screens), and clear technical explanations of what happens in the background.

To build these guides, we went through a comprehensive, line-by-line audit of the entire mobile and web codebase to ensure that every label, button name, and modal in the guides matches the production app 100%.

This includes key features like the AI Smart Scanner's receipt workflow (navigating from review to parts to done), the QR label creator's customizable sizing formats, Site Info toggles, Parts & Inventory fits-compatibility badges, Fire Damper Drop Tests under Billing & Time logs, and the 6-character Building Transfer sequence. If you see a button name like 'PRINT DOOR SIGN (LETTER)' or 'ASSIGNED BUILDING' in a guide, you can be certain it's exactly what you'll see on your phone screen.
